Students will be asked to consider what it takes to run a Botanic Gardens and come along on a journey highlighting the various career pathways that exist within the gardens in horticulture, science, conservation, design, education and more.
Students Will:
Gain insight into the careers that exist within a Botanic Garden setting
Teacher can choose 2 of the following options for this program:
Pot up a plant to take home
Produce seed bombs
Construct a bamboo shelter
Work in the Kitchen Garden
ID an Oak tree; working as a botanist
