Children's Garden: Design and Play

Description :

Students will explore the Children’s Garden and learn about the design features of the garden using natural elements. They will be encouraged to reflect on their experience and imagine features they would like in their own school play space. Students will also work collaboratively to design and construct shelters using natural and recycled materials.

 

Students will: 
 

  • Create a shelter using natural materials from the garden.  
  • Plant an indigenous seedling to take home.
  • Explore and discuss design features of the Children’s Garden.
