Minibeasts

Description :

Embark on a sensory-rich exploration of the Royal Botanic Gardens, where young learners discover the fascinating world of minibeasts. Through a guided excursion, children observe and interact with various  invertebrates, learning about their roles in pollination, soil health and plant growth. We will use tools to help us look closer, observe our worm farm and foster curiosity and a deeper appreciation for the natural world.  

 

Students will:  

 

  • Use their senses to explore
  • Learn about why minibeasts are so important  
  • Pot up a plant to attract local minibeasts
  • Go on a discovery walk
