Through a playful exploration of Melbourne gardens, explore the physical, mental and emotional benefits of nature and spending time outdoors.
Students will learn wellbeing strategies such as mindfulness, tuning in with the senses and observing the natural world.
This program is also recommended as an immersive experience for students learning English as an additional language.
Students will:
- Learn strategies to improve wellbeing through gentle experiences and reflection
- Experience the benefits of a mindfulness walk
- Participate in a range of nature connection activities including creating land art using natural materials
- Make scented herb bags to take home
